Why do I want to be a Vet?
When I was
a child, I wanted to be a Human Doctor. My uncle was studying medicine and my
grandmother liked the idea to have two doctors in the family. I don’t have
other options until I grew up. In my adolescence I wanted to be many things
such as Journalist, Philosopher, language teacher, Artist, Tattooist, Lawyer,
Vet. I don´t have a choice and every time when somebody ask me I answer a
different thing.
When I took
the PSU I was still indecisive about my career, when the results arrived I had
to choose one, I made a vocational test, asking people, and in the end I chose
Arts. Accompanying my mom to the work in the vet clinic I finally realized what
I wanted to be. It was March so the change of career wasn’t difficult. I arrived
to the career the last days of March and my experience at university until now has
been very good. I like the persons, the campus and the career. I´m very happy
with the choice and I know it was the right thing.
In the
future I want to work in a clinic with small animals like dogs and cats.

be a veterinary and a human doctor is similar, you always like the medicine :)
